Hello fellow discoverers, we are Parallel Universe Studio. I'm very happy that we made this cosmic sci-fi world mobile game after 7 years. I didn't inform you when we started making it. I'm sorry! The main reason is that I am not confident enough, and I am worried that our team will not be able to stick to it or do it...

Order of Time was our first game, and one that has grown with our team. The core members of our studio went to Japan to study game production in 2015. With their love and obsession for games, they always wanted to make a game with "own style" after returning to China. "Time Order" was established at that time. It retains our passion and creativity when we were young, but also contains our mature and thoughtful thinking, and integrates every shred of inspiration that burst out in the process of growing up together. We all want to go beyond our daily life to experience another wonderful life, and science fiction just satisfies our infinite fantasy about the future.


In the past 7 years, we have used more time than others to make up for the lack of manpower, but in fact, many technologies used in the early development have been overturned and rebuilt later, and we have suffered a lot of inexperience. Lots of unnecessary pits. R&D technology is changing with each passing day, software and hardware are iterating at a high speed, and the wave of technology pushes game developers to continuously improve their skills. We spend a longer time to find compensation, which also means that we have to struggle harder so as not to be smashed into the outdated seabed.


In the struggle, we have also hesitated, hesitated, and even questioned whether the direction is correct? Are you going to keep going? It is the dream of pursuing the soul of the game and the desire to nourish the restless soul that guide us to persevere. James Cameron's Sci-fi Film Avatar Gets an MMORPG Shooter Game on Mobile

AVATAR: Reckoning is an MMO mobile shooter coming in 2022. A closed beta test will start during the first quarter of the year.


Developer Archosaur Games (Dragon Raja) and publisher Level Infinite (Tencent Games' global publishing division) are working on a new MMO shooter game based on Disney and James Cameron's sci-fi classic Avatar (2009).

Built on Unreal Engine 4, the game AVATAR: Reckoning will arrive this year, delivering "cutting-edge visuals" on mobile devices. 


A closed beta test is scheduled to start in Canada in Q1, 2022. 



Players create their own Avatar character in AVATAR: Reckoning. They will be transported to the spectacular Pandora, helping the Na’vi clans to defend their home, fighting off the powerful RDA troops and meeting alien creatures.

Several game modes, including single-player story missions, co-op and PvP, are available in the game.

Activision Acquires Mobile Game Developer Digital Legends

 


SANTA MONICA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 28, 2021-- Activision today announced the acquisition of Barcelona-based mobile game developer Digital Legends. The development studio joins Activision’s growing roster of wholly-owned, independent studio teams; and will be supporting development of an unannounced new mobile title within the Call of Duty™ universe. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Destiny could be coming to mobile devices in the near future

Destiny, the popular First Person Shooter (FPS) game franchise developed by Bungie might be getting a mobile version soon in the near future. First reported by TheGamePost, the latest official job listings reveal that Bungie is looking for an Art Director, an Executive Producer, and a Senior Test Manager, all of whom will be working on an upcoming Destiny game, which points to being a new mobile title. The requirements include being an expert on the Destiny IP and also having experience with AAA mobile games, something that cements the fact that a Destiny mobile game is actually being produced. A release on both Android and iOS devices would help expand the title to more regions worldwide.


For those who don’t know, the Destiny franchise is a collection of Online FPS games in which players assume the roles of Guardians who must protect Earth’s last city and Destiny is often considered to be among some of the best video games ever made.

A collaboration between Bungie and NetEase is in the cards for the Destiny mobile game

Going into the job requirement that Bungie has posted, it can be seen that applicants are required to be willing to work with both internal and external partners. Moreover, they should be willing to travel to China when required, and also, being able to speak Chinese, which would definitely be a bonus and would be appreciated.
