In Cult of the Lamb, players assume the role of a possessed lamb rescued from certain destruction by a mysterious figure. In exchange for their salvation, the lamb must establish a loyal following in the stranger’s name. The new Relics of the Old Faith expansion adds exciting content to the game, including new abilities, characters, and challenges, all designed to help players spread the gospel of their cult.
The expansion takes players deeper into the history of the Lands of the Old Faith, providing them with new ways to appease their followers, battle their enemies, and uncover the secrets of the Old Faith. With the addition of new combat abilities, Relic powers, and unique challenge modes, players will find even more ways to unleash their destructive power and assert their cult’s dominance.
As players progress through the game, they must collect resources, build structures, and perform dark rituals to strengthen their flock’s faith. They must also explore the game’s sprawling, randomly generated world, battling enemies and rival cult leaders to absorb their power and spread their cult’s Word. With each new region they explore, they will uncover mystical secrets and gain new powers, leading them ever closer to becoming the ultimate lamb god.
